….. £100,000 or more, as well as tendered and negotiated contracts, but exclude frameworks and masterplans. Included is also a summary section outlining the biggest changes in rankings from all of the tables.

The clients and architects tables are based on contract data, and ranked by projects worked on which a contractor has been appointed in that month or 12-month period.

Highlights from this month’s Top 50 Tables include:

Balfour Beatty were the top contractor for December, subsequently making them the top contractor for 2019 with total contract awards of almost £1.75 billion.
2019 saw AHR Architects occupy the top spot in the Architects league table, with a total of 42 awards.
The top project awarded in December was the £267 million development of Midland Metropolitan Hospital.
