Event Details
The European construction sector has recovered strongly from the COVID pandemic, but since last year it has faced new challenges that have created uncertainty about future developments. Already existing supply shortages have been exacerbated by the war in Ukraine, which has led to soaring inflation rates and the need to raise interest rates.
Key issues to be addressed
- How will Europe’s construction sector cope with rising prices and interest rates?
- What are the likely economic scenarios for the next few years?
- Will energy prices continue to drive investment in sustainability?
These questions and many more will be addressed at the 95th Euroconstruct Conference on 8 and 9 June in Amsterdam. The programme includes presentations by leading economists and construction experts from the network, as well as a panel discussion with construction insiders and policymakers.
