Event Details

An Insynth webinar for construction product manufacturers, with Professors Nicky Harris and Greg Watts, considering what architects and other specifiers expect from CPDs as the “new normal” establishes.

The way CPDs are consumed in the construction industry has experienced a 180° turn in the last couple of years. Truth is, we all had that intuition… But 2021 has given us some key data. In this free to attend webinar, construction marketing specialists Insynth will be looking at that data with the researchers that produced it.

Join Insynth on Wednesday, 6th April, with Director of Construction Project Management at the University of Salford, Nicky Harris, and Director of Quantity Surveying at the University of Salford, Greg Watts, who will speak about the data reported on their paper “Continuous Professional Development Changes for Construction Professionals Post Covid-19”.

According to a survey commissioned by the ARB and conducted by SQW last February, ‘90% of architects resorted to self-directed CPD reading’. This aligns with the data observed by Nicki and Greg showing that three out of every ten architects had, since the pandemic, made the active decision to take a more proactive and independent approach towards their CPD activities.

If you provide CPD regularly and have noticed these changes, it is crucial that you adapt your CPD to ensure the comfort of architects and specifiers. This webinar will help you to:

  • Understand the shift that research has observed within architects and specifiers regarding the CPD habits
  • Make the most of the software available to deliver tailored, adapted, and high-quality CPD
