Nineteen Group has announced the acquisition of the National Painting and Decorating Show – the UK’s annual trade exhibition for painting and decorating professionals – from PDS Promotions Ltd.

The move will see the event co-located with InstallerSHOW 2026 (23-25 June, NEC Birmingham) and further extends Nineteen’s commitment to serving the built environment sector.

The National Painting and Decorating Show will retain its brand identity at the NEC while benefiting from the event expertise offered by Lyrical Communications and the wider Nineteen Group. The acquisition also gives painting and decorating professionals the opportunity to experience all that InstallerSHOW – the UK’s premier event for built environment professionals – has to offer.

The owners of PDS Promotions will continue their involvement in the event as advisors to Nineteen Group, reflecting a shared commitment to the future of the painting and decorating sector.
