UK Government Support for Exhibiting Overseas
Through its ‘Trade Show Access Programme’ (TAP), the Department for International Trade (DIT) provides financial support to UK-based construction businesses seeking to exhibit at certain international construction trade shows. The grants available depend on the event, location and the status of applicant, but are generally between £500 and £2,500.
The scheme is available for attendance at a small number of the exhibitions. The January-June 2020 list has been published (available on the DIT’s Business is Great website here) and includes the following construction-related events:
- Light and Building Frankfurt - Frankfurt
- MosBuild 2020 - Moscow
- Middle East Electricity - Dubai
- National Hardware Show - Las Vegas
- Project QATAR - Doha
- Mipim 2020 - Cannes
