Le Mondial du Bâtiment – Batimat, Ideobain and Interclima – is the unmissable event for innovations in the construction industry. Every 2 years the Innovation Awards highlight exhibitors’ innovative solutions and help promote these solutions on the market.

This 2019 edition of the Innovation Awards included 140 innovation entries that construction industry professionals will be able to discover and use to their advantage.

All the major sectors in Construction are represented: structure, envelope, joinery, closures, site equipment, tools, digital solutions, smart home, interior fittings, exterior fittings, heating, air conditioning, bathrooms, etc.

At the start of September, the entries were examined by the Jury members, and the finalists were announced on 9th September…….

….. The finalists presented their innovations to journalists during a “Press Dating” event yesterday in Paris, following which the six winners were announced. They are as follows:

Somfy and the Liébot Group Motorised sliding French door
Wicona Recycled aluminium window
Schüco Panoramic façade system
Technal Soléal double sliding window
Jouplast Cleman paving support pedestal

The official prize-giving ceremony for the 2019 Innovation Awards will take place on Tuesday, 5th November, at 11 am at the Architecture Forum at Batimat (hall 5A).

From 4th to 8th November, visitors will be able to see all the candidate innovations in the Innovation Areas through daily presentations and interactive screens. They will also be able to vote for their favourite innovation.
