Construction marketing communications agency, CDP, has announced the opening of the annual cryptic quiz – now in its twenty-third year – in aid of CRASH, the industry’s own charity that assists homeless and hospice charities through construction-related projects.
The challenge is to work out the name of a band or artiste from the cryptic clues. For example… ‘Scrubbed outlaw’ = Clean Bandit. The entry with the most correct answers will win a case of wine. This year CDP are 98% confident that no-one will get 100% correct (but they also say they are more often than not – about 90% – wrong about this).
CDP will make a donation to CRASH for every entry received, so the more they receive, the more they can donate. The winner will receive a case of wine. In the event of a tie, the winner will be drawn from the official ‘CDP Pop Quiz Hat’. A list of correct answers will be posted on the CDP website from 18th January 2022.
